As we enter the 4th Quarter of 2023, we've witnessed a
remarkable shift in the job market.
Starting at a 3.6% unemployment rate in January, it has
decreased to 3.4% by July, with employment figures climbing
from 16.16 million to 16.34 million individuals (source:
Department of Statistics Malaysia). These numbers reflect a
thriving post-pandemic economy.
During the pandemic, we observed a surge in talent embracing the gig economy, driven by the sudden growth of e-commerce. Interestingly, many of these same individuals are now leaving gig jobs to rejoin the traditional full-time job sector. At CXL Group alone, we've seen this transition double in volume from Q1 to Q2 of 2023. So, what's fact and what's fiction? Dive into my blog to uncover the truth. |
